Semele (top-right) was a classic opera with a 1920’s swing to it.

 

New Youth (top-left) was a play split to three acts: past, present and future.

 

Sacrifice (bottom-left) was a play about current conflicts in religious interpretation - the goddess of war Kali symbolized the traditional approach while Aparna, the girl on the right, symbolized the modern approach.

Mandarin Rouge Ball was a ball with a “China in the 1920s” theme, run by the Hongpao Society of St Andrews.
